Pastor Tommy L. McClam was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. He received his formal education in the Buffalo Public School System. He graduated from Daemen College in 1980 earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting. Prior to his call to fulltime youth ministry, he was employed for seventeen years with the Internal Revenue Service, as the Information Systems Division Chief for Upstate New York.

Pastor McClam accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age.   His experience in ministry includes various ecclesiastical positions and responsibilities, but his spiritual passion and burden is to see young people encounter the true and living God. Pastor McClam was licensed to preach in 1988 and was ordained under the leadership of Bishop T. Anthony Bronner in August 2003. Currently he serves as the Youth Pastor for Elim Christian Fellowship where he oversees the Generation N.O.W. Youth Ministry. 

Pastor Tommy has worked over twenty years in Urban Youth Ministry. He traveles throughout the United States preaching, ministering and presenting seminars and workshops, that focus on ministry evangelizing and discipling urban youth. It is his true desire to love God and to love people in a way that touches and pleases the heart of God.

Pastor McClam is married to the former Elizabeth Walters who continues to be his soul mate, friend, and partner in ministry. They have from God two wonderful and gifted children, Lewis W. and Daycia P. McClam
